AM Best will sponsor the Fun Run and Walk to benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation during the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ 124th Annual Convention, which will be held from Sept. 22-25, 2019 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
Proceeds from the 16th annual Fun Run/Walk on Tuesday, Sept. 24, will benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which was founded by members of the insurance industry. Participants can choose between a 5K run or the 3K walk; start time is 7:05 a.m. (EDT). The foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most-promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and has committed more than $101 million to research grants. AM Best is a longtime sponsor of the NAMIC Conference, which offers a multitude of seminars focused on mutual insurance trends and networking opportunities. AM Best will exhibit a booth at the conference, where visitors can learn about the rating agency, its role in the insurance industry and the resources it offers to insurance professionals, including Best’s Credit Ratings, insurance data and analysis resources and financial data products.
AM Best will host its annual networking reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Belvedere Lobby Bar at Gaylord National Resort.
AM Best rating analysts also will be in attendance and meeting with member companies.
