AM Best and Best’s Insurance Professional Resources have released the latest installment of the Best’s Insurance Law Podcast series, which examines timely claims and insurance issues from a legal perspective.
This episode looks at how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the number of fraudulent claims and what investigators and claims managers need to know to identify and fight them. The podcast features James Barbieri, president and chief executive officer of Claims Advantage in Georgia. A former police officer, Mr. Barbieri is a certified insurance fraud investigator (CIFI) and adjuster, and has been conducting insurance fraud investigations for over 30 years.
