AM Best will participate in an upcoming webinar hosted by Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) examining how U.S. property/casualty insurers are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and what further developments they anticipate in 2021.

Steve Chirico, director, AM Best, will participate in a panel titled, “P&C in 2021—Innovation, With Forrester & AM Best,” at 11 a.m. (EST) on Thursday, Jan. 14. The panel will address the impact of COVID-19 on the insurance industry, including how it has changed products and distribution. Panelists also will address why innovation is more important than ever for insurance companies.

Chirico has more than 20 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry. He manages a team of analysts that oversee portfolios of commercial and alternative risk insurers, and reinsurers. He also contributes to AM Best publications and is a member of AM Best’s Innovation Working Group.

Also joining the panel will be Ryan McMahon, vice president of insurance and government affairs for Cambridge Mobile Telematics, and Jeffery Williams, senior analyst for Forrester.
