A.M. Best Associate Director Raymond Thomson and Senior Financial Analyst Gordon McLean will address the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation’s (PACICC) risk officer’s forum on Oct. 31, 2018, in Toronto.

Thomson and McLean will discuss A.M. Best’s updated capital adequacy model and the role of enterprise risk management within Best’s Credit Rating Methodology. The event will be held in the office of Goodmans LLP, 333 Bay Street, and begins at 1 p.m. (EDT).

Thomson oversees a team of analysts who cover approximately 70 personal and commercial lines writers of various sizes, including approximately 20 Canadian insurers that write various lines of business. McLean serves as a lead analyst and oversees a portfolio of property/casualty insurers that is composed primarily of Canada-domiciled carriers with regional and national scope.
