Following the affirmation of the financial strength rating (FSR) of A (Excellent) and issuer credit rating (ICR) of "a" of Lloyd's of London (Lloyd's) (United Kingdom) and the revision of the outlook to positive from stable for the ICR of Lloyd's, A.M. Best Co. has reviewed all its Best's Syndicate Ratings and has taken various rating actions. (See detail below.) These ratings are based on A.M. Best-specific syndicate criteria. The Best's Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of "a" of Lloyd's Syndicate 1084 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best's Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd's FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd's ICR.
The Best's Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of "a" of Lloyd's Syndicate 1225 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best's Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd's FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd's ICR.
