A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the Best's Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and issuer credit rating (ICR) of "a+" of Lloyd's Syndicate 1414 (United Kingdom), which is managed by Ascot Underwriting Limited. The rating continues to reflect the financial strength of the Lloyd's market, which underpins the security of all Lloyd's syndicates. The outlook for both ratings remains stable. Concurrently, A.M. Best has withdrawn the ratings at the syndicate's request and assigned an NR-4 to the Best's Syndicate Rating and an "nr" to the ICR.
