AM Best will be participating in the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) 2020 Main Event, which will be held online May 11-14, 2020.
Stefan Holzberger, chief rating officer at AM Best Rating Services, will join a Q&A session titled, “Covering COVID-19 … The Impact on Insurers Now and Into the Future.” During the session, he will discuss the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the insurance industry, with a review of how individual insurance segments have been affected and the government’s response, as well as AM Best’s outlook on the insurance industry. As AM Best’s chief rating officer, Holzberger is responsible for the agency’s global ratings coverage. The 60-minute session will take place May 14 at 1:00 p.m. (EDT).
The AAIS serves as an intermediary between regulators and insurance carriers, filing forms and rates and serving as a statistical reporting bureau.
