AM Best Managing Director Joins ‘Target Topics’ Podcast to Discuss State of Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises Market

A recent Best’s Market Segment Report on the DUAE segment stated that 2025 marked the fifth consecutive year of direct premium growth for managing general agents (MGAs). During the episode, Williams gives an overview of year-end 2025 results for the segment, as well as how market structures are evolving and where the DUAE market is headed. Williams also discusses Best’s Performance Assessments for DUAEs, an industry-first tool that provides a framework for differentiating among DUAEs, which is a blanket term to capture MGAs, coverholders and other similar entities.
