AM Best Withdraws Credit Ratings of AXA France Vie

Amsterdam //BestWire// - AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of A+ (Superior) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “aa-” (Superior) of AXA France Vie (France), a subsidiary of AXA S.A. (AXA) (France). The outlook of these Credit Ratings (ratings) is stable. Concurrently, AM Best has withdrawn the ratings as AXA France Vie has requested to no longer participate in AM Best’s interactive rating process.
The ratings of AXA France Vie factor in the entity’s strategic importance to AXA as its main carrier for life and health business in France, and reflect AXA’s balance sheet strength, which AM Best assesses as very strong, as well as its strong operating performance, very favourable business profile and very strong enterprise risk management.
