AM Best Withdraws Credit Ratings of AXA XL Resseguros S.A.
- February 08, 2024 08:43 AM (EST)
//BestWire// - AM Best has withdrawn the Financial Strength Rating of A+ (Superior) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “aa-” (Superior) of AXA XL Resseguros S.A. (Sao Paolo, BR). The company had previously been rated as part of the broader AXA S.A. rating unit, serving in its Brazil reinsurance market. AM Best has withdrawn these Credit Ratings (ratings) as the company has requested to no longer participate in AM Best’s interactive rating process for this specific legal entity.
AM Best’s procedure is for a final rating opinion to be produced in conjunction with a rating withdrawal. However, a final rating could not be determined due to a lack of financial information and standalone business plans required to determine a final rating assessment.
