//BestWire// - AM Best has withdrawn the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “bbb-” (Good) of National Western Life Group, Inc. (National Western) (headquartered in Austin, TX). At the time of this withdrawal, the Credit Rating (rating) outlook is stable.
AM Best has withdrawn this rating as National Western has requested to no longer participate in AM Best’s interactive rating process, since the company was taken private. This rating was downgraded on Aug. 23, 2024.
