Best's Rankings: US P/C Stand-Alone Cybersecurity DPW Drop 7.8%; Chubb Jumps to No. 2
OLDWICK, N.J. //BestWire// - Chubb INA Group vaulted from No. 70 to No. 2 on a new Best's Rankings of the largest writers of U.S. property/casualty stand-alone cybersecurity insurance, with $467.1 million of direct premiums written last year.
None of the 20 largest writers of the line held the same position a year earlier. Consolidated direct premiums written declined 7.8% last year to $4.6 billion.
Travelers Group took the top spot, up from No. 3 in 2023. DPW increased 43.5% to $467.4 million.
XL America Cos. premiums declined 30.6% to $338.3 million. It fell from No. 1 to No. 3.
Other companies with noticeably higher rankings in the line were At-Bay Specialty Insurance Co. at No. 4 and No. 11 CNA Insurance Cos.
The ranking includes 2024 direct premiums written and the percentage change.
