Best's Rankings: US Life/Health Six-Month 2025 Admitted Assets Rose 3.1%
OLDWICK, N.J. //BestWire// - Total U.S. life/health admitted assets rose 3.1% to $9.50 trillion in the first six months of 2025, according to a new Best's Ranking.
Admitted assets rose 3.1% to $6.96 trillion for the top 25 writers and also rose 3.1%, to $9.32 trillion, for the top 100 writers.
The top 25 writers all saw positive admitted assets percent changes in the single digits except ninth-ranked Athene US Life Group, which reported a 12.0% rise in six-month admitted assets.
The 15-page report measures admitted assets and percent change, separate account assets, net premiums written and 12-month percent change, after-tax net operating gain, realized gains and losses and other figures for each writer.
