AM Best to Moderate Panels Focused on MGAs, AI Governance at InsurTech America Symposium 2026

//BestWire// - AM Best will participate on multiple panel discussions at the InsurTech America Symposium, which will be held April 13-14, 2026, at the Hartford Marriott Downtown in Hartford, CT.
Sridhar Manyem, senior director, Industry Research and Analytics, will moderate a panel on Monday, April 13, 3:45 p.m. EDT, titled, “Guardrails & Governance: The Regulatory Lens on Insurance Innovation.” The panel participants, which includes Josh Hershman, Connecticut’s insurance commissioner, will highlight how regulators are sharpening their focus on governance, consumer protection and market fairness as carriers accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and digital distribution.
Manyem will also moderate the panel, “Distribution in Flux: Broker, MGA, Platform,” on Tuesday, April 14, at 1 p.m. EDT. The panel will explore how technology is fundamentally reshaping distribution, fueling the rapid rise of tech-enabled managing general agents (MGAs) and expanding the product universe. This session also will explore how carriers, MGAs and brokers can strategically leverage technology to drive distribution partnerships.
