A.M. Best Withdraws Credit Ratings of Southern Guaranty Insurance Company

Oldwick //BestWire// - A.M. Best has withdrawn the Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “a” of Southern Guaranty Insurance Company (SGIC) (Sun Prairie, WI).
SGIC, previously a subsidiary of General Casualty Company of Wisconsin and ultimately QBE Insurance Group Limited, was sold as a clean shell to Premier Servicing, LLC on Mar. 1, 2017. A final rating update will not be completed as the sale has resulted in A.M. Best withdrawing the Credit Ratings.
